Over the years, Faith and Action has partnered with the congregation of Galilee Baptist Church (located on 110th and Michigan Avenue) to be a blessing to the Roseland Community. This past winter, Burlington Coat Factory donated hundreds of gently used warm coats. We had multiple distribution days where people were able to enter inside a warm church building to first receive a “spiritual” meal followed by a warm meal and the opportunity to select a coat. Along with the coats, the recipients were able to select a beautiful crocheted hat and scarf made by ladies from Faith Stitchers. We were honored to be highlighted on Good Morning America.
