The Faith and Action Summer Fest features a variety of family-friendly events and held its first fest in 2014. Crete Church, located at 24755 S. Country Lane in Crete, Illinois graciously allows us to use their facilities for the event. This festival is both a celebration and an outreach event. We celebrate what the Lord has been doing through the ministry and also bless the local community in the activities we have planned for the day. While Summer Fest is a fundraiser, its primary goal is to give new people exposure to the ministry. It also provides a fun day out for many of the underprivileged kids we work with and gives our volunteers an opportunity to mingle with many of the ministry’s friends.
Summer Fest includes a “touch-a-truck” exhibit along with a car cruise, bouncy house, barrel rides, pony rides, giant yard games, smash-a-car, piston toss competition, grilled lunch items, fresh ollie bolen, and much more! Admission is free but all donations received will be used to benefit the programs that Faith and Action offers for at-risk kids.
